NY Times Travel Show
The CHTA Education Foundation (CHTAEF) will be holding a silent Caribbean Auction at the New York Times Travel Show. Show attendees are encouraged to stop by the CHTAEF booth to receive an incredible value on their next Caribbean vacation by bidding on one of the many hotels and resorts participating in the auction, while supporting the non-profit organization's efforts to provide scholarships and special assistance for Caribbean students pursuing careers in tourism.
CHTA Education Foundation requests all hoteliers to continue to support our Hospitality and Tourism Scholars for 2012 by donating a Hotel stay of 5 to 7 days and be featured at The New York Times travel show silent auction on March 3rd and 4th 2012. All donations are space available so please donate your empty rooms for such a worthy cause. Donations need to be faxed to 305-716 9138 or emailed to Janet.foundation@caribbeanhotelandtourism.com by February 15th at the latest. Click here to download donation forms.

Fundraiser Event at the beautiful Wallace Collection, London
Host your most cherished repeat guests and business contacts to
a wonderful night out in London
The CHTAEF announces its latest fundraising initiative, offering hoteliers the opportunity to thank and host their loyal repeat guests, investors and business contacts in London at the stunning Wallace Collection just behind Oxford Street. Set for Saturday 10th March 2012 the event occurs conveniently between ITB in Berlin and Unite Caribbean in London, allowing for maximum utilization of management time.
Our Champagne Reception takes place in the amazing Great Gallery where you will enjoy an exclusive view of one of the world's most comprehensive private art collections including Hals' 'The Laughing Cavalier' and other great works by Rembrandt, Rubens, Titian and Canaletto, accompanied by our Cuban-influenced string quartet. Dinner is served in the Courtyard and followed by an auction of valuable and money-can't-buy items.
All monies raised will go directly to the CHTAEF and the Haiti Relief Fund.
Tables can be booked for US$4,950 or UK£3000 for 10 people, whilst individual tickets can be purchased for US$535 or UK£325. Please email events@caribbeanhotelandtourism.com to make your reservation. It is a small and exclusive event so availability is limited.
