Thus far my journey at The Barbados Community College- Hospitality Institute has been an exciting one. The experiences and knowledge that I have obtained through this program will be most beneficial to me in the coming years. Along the way I have also made friendships which I can also cherish, so it has been a great two years.

At the end of my first year at the college I applied to the Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association Education Foundation (CHTAEF) for some well needed funding to complete my studies and in May 2008 I received a reply that I was successful. The funds I received aided me in paying my second year tuition in addition to accommodation, transport, food cost and other miscellaneous items needed for my education. It is this light that I am truly grateful to CHAEF for this scholarship which has been a great asset in the completion of my studies.

Currently I am preparing for my final examinations and have not entered the world of work just yet. Nonetheless, Thank you very much to all the persons responsible for putting this program together and for seeing me as a worthy candidate.
