Rhozi Kelly-Ann Williams - 2006
I am almost done with two more semesters, trying to finish up my core classes so I can concentrate on classes in my major.
During Spring 06 semester, I volunteered at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival which was very exciting.
I am now an FIU Student Ambassador; we are a select group of students who serve as hosts and hostesses for visiting dignitaries at numerous university and community functions that are vital to the mission of the University.
Right now I am the logistics chair, working on 'Trail of the Torch', the largest school tradition here at FIU which has won the Gold Medal for Excellence in student programs from the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.
I am actively involved in various other activities on campus. My involvement has paid off and I am one of the 2006 - 2007 $500.00 Panther Pride Scholarship recipients. I have also maintained an impressive GPA.
Summer A semester is now in its final week and I look forward to taking a well needed and deserved break from school. I am fortunate to be given the opportunity to be doing an internship with Virgin Holidays for the summer. I look forward to working with the entire staff at Virgin and learning a lot from everyone.
I am very grateful to CHA and Virgin for the support and the opportunities they have given to me.
GOD BLESS, Rhozi Kelly-Ann Williams.
