The Summer Course provided useful knowledge that I can directly apply in my daily work. Not only that the knowledge gained from this course will help me to perform my job efficiently and effectively, it will certainly help me during my further career.

One of the most interesting parts of the course was the Yield Management. Yield Management helps me understand the financial management in its whole. Some attention areas of this module were:

• Get the idea of what the yield management is
• Appropriate use of video concepts
• Myths around yield management
• Market segments
• Profit analysis

Furthermore, the combination of the theories and the practical assignments and case studies, was very helpful to make things clear. It gave me the opportunity to practice the learning points in real life situations.

An example was the module Interpersonal Competencies. The learning points were:

• How to negotiate
• Managing Conflicts
• Active listening and how to give feedback
• Basic presentation skills

The summer course in its whole exceeded my expectations. As I mentioned above this course provided useful knowledge to get better in my daily work. Also it made me realize that I have a wonderful career ahead of me. I'm looking forward to implement the gained knowledge in my company and by doing so to contribute a better service for the hotel guests.

It was a fantastic experience to participate in this course with other colleagues from other parts of the world. It not only gave me a chance to compare our way of works but it also gave me the opportunity to get to know the other cultures and what the influences they have in doing business.

  Last but not least my thanks to the Hotel School, The Hague in general and in particular the instructors of the course.
