Wilton Veloz - 2003-2006
During the past year I continued to work at the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in Santo Domingo, in the Communications and Records department, while maintaining a GPA above 2.5. For a student of an institution such as the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), known for its academic excellence, that is no small feat.

Regarding my plans for the near future, I am hoping to finish my studies in September 2006. I would like to enter the hotel and hospitality sector after doing so, and I think my previous experience in the area - Copa Airlines, Air Café and Tropic's Restaurant - will facilitate my entry in the aforementioned market.

At the time being, I am taking two out of the three final subjects in my program, since the remaining one, English 301 (an advanced and intensive course) is only offered in the summer term. I obviously plan on completing the course this summer, so as to graduate in September of this year.

I am extremely grateful for the interest you have shown in the progress of those in need, and hope that you continue supporting me to reach my goals of becoming a link of the important industry chain.
