Virgin Holidays was the first private organization to establish a corporate scholarship program through the Caribbean Hotel & Tourism Foundation. Initially supporting Virgin Atlantic routes, Virgin Holidays has been selling holidays since 1985. The operator has gone from strength to strength and expanded to offer holidays worldwide. The operator is best known for its commitment to ensure that the beautiful world we have inherited from our parents is passed on to our children. All of the profits made at Virgin Holidays are invested in the search for renewable energy sources, which combined with the rest of the Virgin Travel Group is estimated to be US $3 billion over the next 10 years. In addition to their environmental commitments, Virgin Holidays has a long term interest in the further economic development of the regions in which they operate.

CHTAEF welcomed FirstCaribbean Bank in the second half of 2007 as a new Corporate Sponsor, with two scholarships of US$5,000 each, for a total of $10,000 annually. FirstCaribbean's continued support of CHTAEF responds to the company's commitment to community involvement, proud to be an integral part of nearly 90 communities around the Caribbean region.  As a result, their philosophy focuses primarily on the good that their programs are able to achieve, rather than on the act of giving.

SkyAuction.com is a fast-growing travel auction marketplace where you can buy airline tickets, room nights, tours, cruises and all-inclusive vacations. They negotiate special deals with leading airlines, hotels, resorts and cruises -- the brands that you know and trust -- to offer the buyer amazing bargains.   SkyAuction.com began operations in February of 1999, and has built their business around two simple, but powerful, ideas: first, that consumers should pay for their travel however much they feel it is worth and not a penny more; and second, that purchasing travel should be easy and exciting, not difficult and boring! SkyAuction.com allows the CHTAEF to reach a wide audience with it’s annual donated Hotel-Stay program and raise much needed scholarship funds.
