The recommend attire for the event is resort casual.
Is membership in CHTA required to attend the event?
Yes, the Small Hotels Retreat is a member benefit and as such only CHTA members in good standing can attend.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes one breakfast, one lunch, two coffee breaks and the opening reception on the evening of September 9th plus access to all conference sessions and round tables.
Will there be a trade show component during Small Hotels Retreat?
Yes, CHTA allied members that provide services and products to hoteliers are encouraged to purchase a tabletop to display their products to the attendees. The cost for a tabletop is $750.00 plus $150.00 for exhibitor registration.
Taste of the Caribbean, the regional culinary event and competition is concurrent with the Small Hotels Retreat, can I participate at the events scheduled for Taste of the Caribbean?
Small Hotels Retreat delegates are encouraged to attend the culinary and beverage competitions at no charge. There will also be an opportunity for delegates to purchase a ticket to attend the competition lunch or dinner and experience the creations of the national Caribbean teams. You can also extend your stay and purchase a ticket to participate in the awards breakfast and dinner.
